An action-packed, tickety-boo romp through life as a technophobe movie buff and closet romantic. Courage and shuffle the cards: my motto.

Here to soothe your jangled nerves...
My favourite thangka of White Tara, the quintessence of compassion, generosity and fearlessness. Her mantra helped me through the most difficult time of my life, when my mum had pneumonia and was in an induced coma. She's all better now, and she stopped smoking, after 40 years.
I'm a Scottish woman, a Buddhist, a deep thinker but most of all a human being. Short CV: a bachelor of arts in English Language and Literature, a master's in film studies, a graduate teaching assistant at Ohio University and a journalist in London for two years. After stints at various jobs I'm volunteering and writing in Cardiff.
Laugher, singer and ukulele player. Hiya.
